Imdisposable (detail: I am just a cavity for your ego); 2019

Tal Tamar is a queer interdisciplinary artist using text and fibrous materials as testimonial mechanisms. Her work explores the vulnerability of intrapersonal access and memory while wrestling with the notions and indicators of home. Often using body as site, Tamar reimagines the body in a variety of manifestations. Each representation has undergone a process of construction, mending and marking as a way to consider the repetitious nature of invisible boundaries of trauma and memory. The manipulation of fibers offer a meditative process and an archive of space and time.
